Customer Service Officer (HQ)   

Key coordinator responsible for day to day commercial related matter, keeping existing customers updated of any trade related changes, attending to incoming enquiries from existing / potential new customers and ensuring customer satisfaction to the highest level.

Requirements
  • Willing to work in Shah Alam, Selangor area
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree - preferably in Maritime / Logistics
  • Experience and knowledge in documentation (shipping agency / line) would be an added advantage
  • Good command of English – both written and spoken
  • Meticulous and systematic in process of carrying out task(s)
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently
  • Interest in International Business and related field
  • Computer skills – experienced with MS office
  • Motivated and enthusiastic team player – willingness to help out wherever possible and motivate others.
  • Hands on and “Can do” attitude

  • Work out feeder connection where applicable
  • To monitor booking regularly with customers to ensure its accuracy
  • To monitor cargo presentation
  • Regular communication with operations, logistics and documentation personnel to ensure all shipment smooth sailing.
  • Regular communication with Principal office – Trade / Ops / Planner – for space / booking / waitlist confirmation etc.
  • Provides sales supports to sales team members.

Sales Officer (HQ)   

Sales Officer (HQ). Focus to market range of services offered by company. Managing a set of existing / potential customers – develop, acquire new business and maintenance of existing customers.

Requirements
  • Min Diploma or Degree – major in Logistics, International business, marketing and economics an advantage
  • Fresh graduate or Minimum 1 year work experience – preferable sales / marketing in service industry
  • Possess own transport, and is willing to travel outstation
  • Industry knowledge of both international and local Malaysian shipping practices will be an advantage
  • Experience in shipping agency industry will be an added advantage
What we Expect from you?
  • Taking cue from immediate superior – QEL’s direction, market and promote QEL’s range of agency shipping services accordingly
  • To service and source for existing and potential clients
  • Ensure customer profile is maintained
  • To ensure information flows between all internal functional departments and clients
  • To attend and follow through enquiries from clients
  • Timely, accurate and quality sales report submission (pre & post plan) of his / her own sales calls via internal system
  • To monitor debtors aging for all accounts
  • Monitor and achieve sales target given
  • Regular dialogue with commercial team with regards to current market situation and dynamics of trade related to the principal’s tradelane(s)
  • To assist in information/market intelligence gathering and report

Operation Officer (HQ)   

Operation Officer (HQ). Ensure effective liaison with agents and coordinated arrangement of shipments.

Requirements
  • Min SPM, Diploma or Degree – preferably in Maritime / Shipping
  • Fresh graduate
  • 2 years of working experience in similar functions will be an added advantage.
  • Male preferred - In view of the job requirement

IT & Admin Executive (HQ)   

Key coordinator responsible for managing and maintaining computer systems, providing technical support to staff, maintaining records and databases, assisting with administrative tasks, and developing and implementing policies and procedures related to IT and administrative functions.

Requirements
  • Willing to work in Shah Alam, Selangor area
  • Possess at least a Professional Certificate in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Min 2 years’ experience in the related field
  • Strong technical skills and experience with a range of software and hardware, including Microsoft Office, networking, and troubleshooting
