On 23rd August 2021, MBf Carpenters Shipping announced a general rate increase (GRI) in correlation with the constant increase in overall operational cost in a challenging environment since 2020. The rate restoration will be effective for shipments with bills of lading issued on and after 15th September 2021.
The quantum of applicable as follows:
USD 1,000 per 20gp
USD 2,000 per 40hc
USD 59 per rt (breakbulk)
The rate restoration applies to shipment out of North Asia, South East Asia and Indian subcontinent to Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
